Autumn Approaches The Northwest

As the leaves begin to turn and the days get shorter, we approach the best time of year to plant perennials. While the aboveground foliage is entering dormancy, the roots below are awakened and ready to colonize the surrounding soils. More rain means less irrigation is required.
